IT360, Inc. was founded in February of 2006 by Don Dawson and Matt Machala, its current President and Vice President respectively. Their vision was to offer small and medium sized businesses the same support levels that were available to larger corporations, at a fraction of the cost to hire a full-time, in-house support staff.
Their ideas on how to accomplish this feat were not necessarily new. Instead, they were the culmination of the best philosophies of the large companies that Dawson and Machala were previously employed. Those fundamental values centered on responsive 24/7 support without inflated after-hours rates, a simple yet affordable pricing structure, and the belief that all customers are equal – regardless of their size or budget.
In May 2007, IT360 invested in powerful automation and reporting software tools in order to shift its focus from the traditional “break-fix” computer support model. These tools immediately acknowledged the company as a true Managed Service Provider (MSP) and significantly decreased the response times in resolving customer incidents. Most importantly, it allowed IT360 to proactively monitor and support customer workstations, servers, and network devices. This also meant that, in most instances, the technical support helpdesk was able to contact the customer to inform them of potential issues, rather than waiting for these issues to surface and possibly result in system downtime and lost productivity.
To build on the level of expertise offered, and add additional technical resources, IT360 purchased Pekin, Illinois based firm Dynamic Technology Consulting, Inc. in July 2008. This acquisition brought two like-minded companies together and combined the accomplishments that were made as individual businesses.
Today, every member of the IT360 team brings a unique set of skills and experiences to every client situation. We continue to make every effort to build meaningful relationships with our customers, suppliers, and business partners, while being a good neighbor in the communities we serve.
